Archive excerpt 1

Justin (verbatim; incidental identifiers redacted): A good example of that is sarcoplasmic growth. You can go look back at the Wikipedia logs from like 8, 9 years ago. It wasn't until maybe— geez, I think because I think we did a Muscle Mentor video on it last time I was down here, it's like 2018 or something. And they were still not like— Wikipedia would still take the sarcoplasmic portion down, put it back up. Like the science wasn't even like accepting that. And so imagine like, you know, guys start working out in the like 1980s and all the way up until 2012 they insist that anyone doing any effort that focuses on blood volume or sarcoplasmic growth is completely wasting their time. Only the next year to realize that science finally says no, that way there actually is that, that's a big component of muscle growth. Now those people that only believe the science, they lost 20 years, their entire career of suboptimal progress. And that pops up all the time, like delayed onset muscle soreness, you know. Like if you, you know, if you believed that that was the only indicator of muscle growth, you would have, you know, that's what people believed until just very recently. Now those same people who, the muscle soreness cracks me up because the same people who for 15 years would say, if you're not, someone, you know, would post something and all the comments would be, you didn't get sore, there's no way you made growth. Those exact same people now are posting on YouTube comments or whatever, muscle soreness has nothing to do with growth. I wish you people would just quit. It's like 6 months ago, you— I can go back to your post history. Yeah, that cracks me up. Have you— you get— I've been lifting over 30 years. Any video post, the first comment goes, have you tried? Yes. No, this was like— if I do like a sloppy pendelay row or something, you know, you know, have you ever tried doing a real bent-over row? It's like, I have done every possible variation of bent-over rows that you can imagine.
