Request Account Deletion

Delete your TroponinIQ account and associated personal data

Who this page is for

Google Play and the App Store require a public way to request account deletion without installing the app. You can use this page from any browser. If you already have the TroponinIQ app, you can also delete from inside the app (see below).

Option 1 — Email (no app required)

  1. Email support@troponiniq.com from the address on your TroponinIQ account.
  2. Use the subject line Account deletion request.
  3. Include your account email and (if you know it) the name on the account. We may ask for a short identity check before completing deletion.

We respond to deletion requests within 30 days. Most requests are processed sooner.

Option 2 — In the mobile app

  1. Open TroponinIQ and sign in.
  2. Go to Me → Delete account.
  3. Confirm the two deletion prompts.

This permanently deletes your account through the same server erasure path used for email requests.

Data that is deleted

When deletion completes, we remove or erase associated personal data, including:

  • Account profile (name, email, and related account fields)
  • Authentication records for that account
  • Health and fitness inputs you provided (training, nutrition, check-ins, measurements)
  • AI chat / coaching conversation history tied to the account
  • Uploaded photos, videos, and documents tied to the account
  • In-app preferences and app-specific settings for that account

Data that may be retained

  • Payment and tax records — retained up to 7 years where required by law (card numbers are not stored by TroponinIQ; processors such as Apple, Google Play, or Stripe hold payment credentials).
  • Account closure buffer — limited account identifiers may remain up to 30 days after a deletion request to finish erasure and fraud/abuse prevention.
  • Anonymized / aggregated analytics — may be retained indefinitely when they can no longer identify you.
  • Legal holds — data we must keep for an active dispute, investigation, or legal obligation until that requirement ends.

Subscriptions

Deleting your TroponinIQ account does not automatically cancel store billing:

  • Apple: cancel in Apple ID → Subscriptions.
  • Google Play:cancel in Play Store → Payments & subscriptions.
  • Web / Stripe: cancel via the billing portal or ask support when you request deletion.
