Combination (front delt) — additional.

Execution

Raise to about shoulder height under control, no swing. Front delts already get hammered on Chest and Shoulder pressing, so this is targeted touch-up volume, not a heavy movement. You get a lot of front delt activation with incline and any chest press. As a general rule, if one exercise is harder, gets you more out of breath and lets you use more weight, there's a reason for that: it's activating more muscle tissue.

The cue that matters

Do not swing these. Past about 70 lb you physically can't contract the front delt hard enough to *control* the weight unless you're pressing 200s overhead — so above that, you're swinging it up with the traps and momentum.

Common mistake

Going heavy and using a hip-and-shoulder heave; you've stolen the stimulus from the muscle you're trying to build. If you're trying to create tension on that muscle, the correct form is whatever puts tension on that muscle — that's what you need to be focused on. That's different from training for a movement, where the form is whatever keeps you inside the rules.
